Asaki

Along each front, a narrow lace panel runs from the neckline down to the ribbing at the hem. The rest of the cardigan, all in stockinette stitch, is kept deliberately plain to let the panel take center stage.

The neckline takes shape over the first rows, by casting on stitches at the edge of the fronts; the 1/1 rib bands are picked up at the end, the right front band with its buttonholes.

Knitted in the Uncommon Everyday base from The Uncommon Thread, in the colorway Nimbostratus, Asaki is a fine, lightweight cardigan, to wear open or buttoned.
