Garoupe

Garope is a sleeveless top that is knitted from top to bottom. The back and front are knitted in flat striped jersey and then the sides are sewn to obtain the color alternation of the stripes between the back and front. We start by casting on the stitches to knit the back. The stitches are then raised on the cast-on row to knit the front. Short rows are incorporated to shape the slope of the shoulders. The stitches along the armholes and necks are finished by knitting the edges into ribs.
