La Bien Aimée “Merino Super Sock” and “Kumo”: 1 skein of each, three colors of “Merino Super Sock” (A, B and C, the outside of the cowl) and “Kumo” (D, the lining), or approximately 131 yd ; 120 m of A, 71 yd ; 65 m of B, 71 yd ; 65 m of C and 219 yd ; 200 m of D. Gauge: 26 sts and 36 rows = 4 in ; 10 cm in the jacquard pattern, washed and blocked. US 2½ ; 3 mm needles, and needles one size smaller for the edgings.
