Charroux

Charroux is a sweater that knits from the bottom to the top, without seams. The front has a pattern described in diagram form, the sleeves and back are in jersey. First, you put the sts up for the bottom ribs and then knit the body round to the armhole. Then the stitches are separated from the back and front which will be knit flat and then assembled at the shoulder level with a 3-hand flap. Work on the sleeves is continued by raising the sts along the armholes to knit the sleeves in the round and then lifting the sts along the neckline to knit the collar.
