Orochi

Orochi is a seamless cardigan worked from the top down. The back is worked first: stitches are cast on, short rows shape the shoulder slope, and the piece is worked to the underarms. Stitches are then picked up along the cast-on edge for the fronts. The fronts and back are joined below the armholes and the body is worked flat. Once the body is complete, stitches are picked up around the armholes and the sleeves are worked in the round. Finally, stitches are picked up along the fronts and back neck for the button band.
